This piece I envisaged being played as part of any rememberence ceremony. The tempo as stated is that of a slow march, so could also be used in a processional.
The solo trunpet carries the tune, the timpani keeping the pace. The drum could be slightly muffled, so not to dominate. A Bass drum could also be used instead of the timpani. The trumpet could also be replaced with any instrument.
