This score by this talented young composer, who was so tragically killed in the trenches during the First World War, evocatively portrays the English countryside of the Edwardian era. It is hoped that this arrangement for Concert Band pays homage to a fine, promising composer who should have gone on to produce much more superb music in a modern, romantic style.
