Silent Night (Clarinet Quartet)
This is a traditional Christmas carol for Clarinet Quartet. It's original German words were written as a poem in 1816 by Josef Mohr. The tune was written for it in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber. A lovely, calm piece that will test your band's ability to keep a slow tempo. Can also be found elsewhere on this site for String Quartet, Saxophone Quartet and Brass Quintet.
