We Three Kings (Christmas) - Concert Band
The famous American carol "We Three Kings" (of Orient Are) was written in 1857 by Rev. John Henry Hopkins. He wrote this carol for a Christmas pageant at the General Theological Seminary in New York City.
This is a fairly straight forward arrangement that has been designed to give each instrument an interesting part to play with a number of different groups playing the melody and accompaniment. An optional Piano part is included. It should work well with choir or congregations singing the traditional words. [I decided to arrange all the Christmas carols for my concert band after many years of playing the same-verse arrangement 4 or 5 times always with the flute, clarinet and trumpet having the melody!]
