This is an arrangement of the Soldiers' Chorus from Charles Gounod's opera "Faust". The chorus is a march with a military feel, but also with a sense of comradely bonhomie.

This version is a feature for four trombones, reflecting the four parts of the male chorus, with accompaniment from the rest of the brass band. The trombone is the perfect voice for the chorus with its strong joyous voice, yet is able to sing sweetly in the legato section.
