A pupil of Haydn, his works are characterised by charm and simplicity, making them very ‘pleyel-able’ for student instrumentalists.
Pleyel was also involved in piano manufacture, so among his publications are several volumes of easy works for amateur pianists. This item is taken from Sonata V, in the fourth book of these Petits airs et rondos d’une execution facile.
