The closing movement of Theodore Dubois’ "Seven Last Words of Christ" makes a wonderful devotional anthem during Holy Week or Benediction response most any time of the year. It is especially touching to sing this chorus in the original Latin, "Adoramus Te, Christe", however, the English version commonly used in the United States changes the rhythm so that the accentuation is wrong. In this edition I include both Latin and English versions with the correct rhythm for each.
