Two Part Invention in G Major
Orginally, I composed this piece under the name "Fughetta in G Major", however, after much consideration I decided on it being more of a two part invention with close ties to the fugue. It is written in ABA form, with the B section owing some of its theme to the A section, although in resverse and transposed from G major to A major. General midi is unmerciful to the white sonority of the piano, but the piece is best heard alive. To break from tradition, I will upload two additional movements, a quasi(invention)cocerto for piano if you will. Articulation is reserved to the performer. Genieen!
Dank schne, Herr Bach
