Domine fiant anima mea
This music can be sung as well played by instumentalists like recorder. I did with the theater/musicalgroup Pipelare in the RK Kerk Antonius van Padua located in Vorden on setember 5 1992. This music was magical then.
Cornelis Floriszoon Schuyt (1557 - 1616) was an organist who lived in Leiden, The Netherlands. During his lifetime he published four bundles of madrigals, all in renaissance-like style. For his time, his style was therefor conservative.
More about Schuyt can be found on http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornelis_Schuyt
