This is one of a series of religious arias I wrote. Basically its liturgical purpose is after communion, the cantor can sing a short solo, so all of the song are short.
I have not yet played this during a mass because I am not sure I didn't accidentally "steal" it from somewhere else. I know that the sixth bar melody is remenicent of Mozart's mass of the sparrow, and the tenth bar is similar to the famous messia by Handel. The rest is orininal, I think. Please tell me if there is actually some work I was completely ripping off. I don't wish to look THAT foolish when I perform it.
