"Fanuilos" (Clouds) is a duet for Cello and Oboe in modern classical style. The title has a loose association with an Elvish expression of similar meaning. The music is non-tonal, often using chords of open 4ths and 5ths. Shifting accidentals give a feeling of ambiguous tonality. Meter is sometimes flexible while the quarter-note beat remains the same. The four movements might represent different moods as expressed by shifting cloud formations: Hope, Fancy, Dance and Lament. Please use the MP3 file for listening.

Which method of viewing music should I use?
