This was a commissioned originally for The First Presbyterian Church of Bay City, MI written in honor of the 100 year anniversary of the church. The director of the choir, Dr. Eric Hoy Tucker, approached me about this after performing the song cycle Southern Salute. It was a great pleasure to work on this piece because of its nature and the level of excellence that Dr. Tucker reflects.
