This choir will be replacing the Cathedral Choir in Canterbury for a week in August, and we've had two rehearsals now, with (among others) magnificat and nunc dimitis by Dyson and Stanford, and Preces and Responses by Radcliffe. In harmonic sense, this piece isn't related to the just-named composers, but it is very much in the recite-style of the psalms and the preces and responses, as commonly used in service.
