This is the last movement of the most famous of Handel's Organ Concertos, aptly nick-named "The Cuckoo & The Nightingale" because of the birdsong imitation in the second movement.
This is an interesting project because of not just the full scoring for brass band, but also the dove-tailing of parts to accomodate the wide expanse of the arpeggio nature of the main motif. Although the staccato notes are shorter in Sibelius than I would want (as to emulate strings) I hope the arrangement sounds fairly convincing.
N.B., One thing I need to clarify is that although I want to keep the concertante feel of the original, I don't want it to be perceived as a transcribed "solo vs. tutti" transcription.
