"Brubeck's Bounce", and by Brubeck I mean Dave Brubeck the American who is regarded as a Jazz icon who uses unusual time signatures, by superimposing contrasting rhythm, meters and tonalities. His "Take Five" in 5/4 time, "Unsquare Dance" in 7/4 time, and "Blue Rondo a la Turk" in 9/8, rhythmatically 2,2,2,3, are jazz classics.
"Brubeck's Bounce" is a composition of mine that tries to emulate, and show my regards, his 5/4 jazziness and unusual tonality.
Also for Orchestra, Concert Windband, Brass Nonet, Clarinet Choir, Saxophone Sextet, and as a Clarinet solo with String Orchestra. Please see my Sibelius homepage for further details
