Introduction, 5 waltzes and a finale. Originally written for orchestra. The melodies in the waltzes are simply enchanting. You can choose to play all or a selection with or without the introduction and the finale. The Amelie Waltz is a memento of a visit bye Lumbye to Berlin 1846. He dedecated this waltz to the young Amelie Hartmann. Hans Christian Lumbye, (1810-1874), Danish composer and conductor. Lumbye was one of most important names in danish 19th century music.
