This piece was written as a folk song when I was very young and accompanied myself on guitar. Over the years I have recast it for piano and voice for the verse and choir with piano for the coda. It is suitable for the Bah' nineteen day Feast and could be performed by children - a girl or boy soprano accompanied by a child or two on the piano. The coda could be sung unison on the soprano line and the accompaniment would fill in the chords.
