Written for Mike Spencer, good friend and colleague. The work had originally begun life as a scant 3 minute song-like affair; however, the two inter-related tempi, which define the structure, enabled me to give freer reign to the material. The piece still maintains an essentially strophic form, and is in one continuous movement. 3,4,6,12,14,16,22,144n.o. is in praise of logical and illogical numbers everywhere!
