My ’Young person’s guide to the Orchestra’, composed for a training orchestra to perform with six professional soloists (flute, clarinet, trumpet, percussion, violin, ’cello). Performed at The Croft School’s Orchestral Afternoon on 1st March, 2008, with a scratch orchestra of 150 musicians, aged 8-80 and six guests from the Orchestra of the Swan. This is obviously a specialised composition designed for one particular event. (The extracted soloist parts combine their solos with supporting the 1st sections of their relevant section). Please do contact me, however, if you are interested in having an adapted version of this score for a similar occasion.
