Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706) was a German Baroque composer and organist . He is best known for this Canon, which is sometimes called "Pachelbel’s canon". This piece is very beautiful and brimful of glee. It is for three violins and basso continuo. Playing a violin part is so enjoyable, however, violoncello part is boring. It is repetition of only two bars. Cue notes are added at the end in violoncello part. Cellists could quit counting bars.
