2 st. fuga in E
Short 2 part fugal study in the church mode E. I wrote this short fuge with the rules in mind as prescribed by J. J. Fuchs in his standard textbook "Gradus ad Parnassum" from which you can find excerpts in Alfred Mann's book "The study of fugue" (Dover publications). After the two voices have entered you write to a cadence on the fifth grade, then the voices enter in stretto and go to a cadence on the third after which the voices enter again in even narrower stretto to go to the final cadence on the first.
