This is the consort song version of a setting of the well known text from Shakespeare's Henry VIII. This has been set by many composers, including Edward German, Sullivan, Ivor Gurney and Vaughan-Williams. It was originally a lute song, written for a 2007 competition, but I have made it into recorder and viol consort versions.
