In the late '80's, early '90's we performed together as a techno-pop duo called idIOt SaVanT. This setting is based on a song I wrote at the time called "Can You Keep A Secret?". If you add a pick up note to the phrase "can you keep a secret", you can hear how easily the response phrase "The seed that falls on good ground" fits. I figured it may be years, if ever, before anyone picks up on the pop tune, so why not use it for something even more worthy, the beauty of the Mass.
