This is a super Christmas piece in the style of a madrigal. Arranged here in unaccompanied SATB for a small choir of any age or ability. It has been performed by a variety of different groups, from vocal quartet to a largish school choir with equal success. Always very well received by the audience, vividly painting a picture of Christmas Day and marrying both secular and sacred aspects of the festival in one very short piece.
