The Hydroelectric City
This is part of a suite entitled "Tales of the Mesa". I wrote these in 1990 for the Intersound Label. The CD is still available by a Google Search. This piece expresses the exhilaration I felt when crossing the Hoover Dam in at night 1987 at seeing the splendor of the monument, the water flowing relentlessly through it's portals, and the gleaming lights from nearby cities of the desert that got their power from the millions of drops of water that pour through. It has a "new age" feel to it.
