This is my first Piano Sonata. Of course it’s not in a classical Sonata form. It goes thru different moods, starting very excitingly with a dancing , stamping Tango swirl. It should be played carefully, trying to connect each tempo smoothly, like a stream of thoughts and images.The technical skills required to perform it are of a very high level. If I would make some comparisons with other compositions, I’d suggest to listen to some piano music by A.Bax,Ginastera and Barber.
