The most tuneful of the Opus 11 trios for flute, violin and cello, many will have come across this first in Bergmann’s arrangement for recorder, violin, cello and continuo. Here,in an arrangement for flute choir, it makes a lovely and exuberant contribution to the flute choir repertoire. As with my other Opus 11 arrangements, the flute and cello parts remain virtually intact, allocated to flute 1 and bass, while the violin part goes largely to flute 2 and the remaining parts are mine.
