Opus 8 No 2 Riding the Railroad (3min).
This piece is a development of an earlier, shorter version, (which was entitled - Two guitars and light percussion). The new title �Riding the Railroad� seemed appropriate as the music conjured up memories of travelling on old steam trains in the UK years ago, and in my youth watching old �wild west� films which often incorporated the mighty North American lines; think Union Pacific and Canadian Pacific. PS. A thankyou goes to Julian Smyth for his suggestion on how to improve the original version. Hope this fits the bill Julian. Extracted parts to follow shortly. As usual with my scores, for best results play the mp3 and listen through high quality digital headphones.
