In 1717, Duke of Chandos invited Handel to live at his palace, Canons, in Middlesex. He composed several masterpieces including Chandos Anthems and concerto grossi in a wonderful atmosphere. Chandos Anthems consist of three voices with orchestra (Oboe, Violin I/II, Bass continuo).　The texts are all based on Psalms．
Chandos Anthem No.11 "Let God arise" HWV256 Sonata consists of the following parts.
