Lord, It Is Eventide Brass Band
Arrangement of Ernest Nichol’s hymn tune for Brass Band. It begins with a flugel solo before intriducing the rest of the band. The chorus section changes feel as it enters 6/8. The horns take back over a transposed rendition of the verse before a fanfare-like finale mixes the 6/8 feel of the chorus with the 2/4 feel of the verse played by solo cornet.
