TWO VERSIONS are available. This famous march, used frequently for weddings, features a solo trumpet. This version is in the ORIGINAL KEY and sounds much better but is harder to play as the 2nd trumpet part is high. The soloist usually plays on a D trumpet (part provided). The EASY KEY version is in Bb and simpler for Bb trumpets to play but the texture is a little muddy and I would go for the ORIGINAL KEY version if you have strong players. The two versions are scored differently and parts are not interchangeable. Click here for the link to the EASIER version.
