Holy Trinity Mass (Congregation, optional SATB, Organ)
This mass was written to mark the centenary of the Anglican Diocese of Wangaratta, Victoria, Australia, and was first sung at the celebratory service in Holy Trinity Cathedral, Wangaratta on 10 March 2002. It is primarily intended for use as a parish mass, to be sung by congregations. I have tried to make the melodic line easy to learn and remember, yet musically interesting. The organ part is likewise not too difficult. The present version, with optional SATB, is for use in parishes with choirs. Altos, tenors and basses have something to do; sopranos have to be content with doubling the congregational line most of the time. For playback on this website, I have used woodwind sounds in preference to the computer's "choir aah" voices.
