Written and performed for the National Convention of American Mothers held in Spokane in 1989, American Lullaby expresses our love and gratitude to those who came before us - especially our mothers. It points us forward, also, with the thought: "When God looked down He saw that it was Mothers who would know and make their children understand that we have seeds of greatness as our birthright,…that America is a chosen, promised land!" Appropriate for Mother's Day, Fourth of July - or other patriotic occasions, as well as other times. Scored for S.S.A.A, it is also available in S.A.T.B. arrangement.
