Summertime Dances 6 Zarabanda
Yes, it's another Sarabande. The one in the Prelude was slow and respectable, based on Baroque models. However in an earlier period the Sarabande seems to have been a much sexier dance. Apparently it was even banned for a while in Spain for obscenity.
The archaic version of the name, and the slightly faster tempo, should tell you that this Zarabanda leans towards the pre-Baroque model. So if you were planning to listen to it while visualising elegant eighteenth-century dancers with huge powdered wigs, please don't.
