D-Day March is a stirring and dignified concert march commemorating the Allied landings in Normandy on 6 June 1944—one of the most significant military operations in history. Rather than depicting the conflict itself, the work honours the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the servicemen and women who took part in Operation Overlord.
Opening with a bold and confident fanfare, the march unfolds through energetic themes, lyrical melodies, and a majestic trio before building to a powerful and triumphant conclusion. Brilliant brass writing, colourful woodwind scoring, and dynamic percussion make this an exciting and rewarding work for concert bands of all levels.

Keith Terrett is a British composer, arranger, conductor, and anthemologist whose music is performed worldwide. His catalogue includes original concert works, ceremonial music, marches, and over 500 arrangements of national anthems and traditional melodies for a wide variety of ensembles.
