This is a neo-classical harpsichord sonata, consisting of 4 movements. The 1st movement is solemn and somewhat mysterious. The 2nd movement is a singing dance. The 3rd movement is short and improvisation like. The 4th movement (or finale) is a playful and fast perpetuum mobile, that perhaps evokes associations with a spinning wheel. The sonata is not too demanding and will be fun to play and to listen to. In case dynamics are possible, there are 3 levels for the dynamics notated (ff, f and p) to be used at discretion by the harpsichordist. Digital performance using Sibelius 6 and Garritan Personal Orchestra. Score moving videos and play along videos are on my YouTube channel. This sonata is premiered by Darina Dikova, in Sofia, on May 11th 2024, at a concert in the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov". This performance is on YouTube.
