Because it's only a half step lower than violin-unfriendly D-flat major, you can still sing along with the instruments. If the second and third violinists get a little jealous at the melody-hogging first player, the piece could be played three times over rotating parts each time. Each one has its own difficulties, so it would require at least intermediate players on each part. I've enjoyed playing this piece with my friends; I hope you will too!
