This piece celebrates the work of the English potter, Lesley Risby. Specifically, it relates to an exhibition of ceramic art held at Harrow during the summer of 2006 at which a number of artists displayed their works. Lesley's contribution was a series of sculptures entitled "On the Edge". The music takes the form of 17 miniatures giving an overall impression of the works, linked by a short "walking" theme as one moves around the exhibition (courtesy of Mussorgsky).
