This is my original hymn tune MARIAZELL 7.7.7.7.D set to the text "Virgin Mother, Oh, Rejoice!" This text was translated by John W. Hewett from the Latin hymn "Laetare, puerpera," which is often sung on the Feast of the Circumcision of Jesus on the Octave of Christmas (January 1).
