I am a composer, arranger, lecturer and examiner, with a B.A. degree in music from Bretton Hall College, and M.Mus. and Ph.D higher degrees in music composition from The University of Leeds. I have had pieces selected by the SPNM reading panel to be performed at several Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festivals, and at the SPNM event at the 2005 Aldeburgh Festival. My chamber opera "The Release" was performed at The University of Leeds in 1992, and my String Quartet No.3 has been performed at Leeds University, Coventry University, and by members of the London Mozart Players for one of their out-reach projects.
