Victor Sainz studied music composition with Paul Creston and Alexander Tcherepnin and received a degree in music composition from New York University's The New York College of Music.
He developed a style of music composition and arranging to motivate beginning instrumental music students while teaching Elementary Instrumental Music in the public schools. The command of the constraints required to write for beginning music students was honed while studying with Dr. William T. Pollak.
