This was written for an orchestral workshop day for a relatively inexperienced group of junior musicians. Parts vary in difficulty but there is something there for even the most elementary players, including open strings and lower register notes in the woodwinds. If you have instruments in your group apart from the usual orchestral ones you will find parts for them; plenty of percussion (which can be doubled), guitar, harp, sax parts and brass band instruments (tenor horn can play the alto sax part, baritone TC / euphonium the tenor sax part and baritone / euphonium BC the trombone part).
