Arranged for SATB and piano or organ, this work is a contemporary arrangement of the familiar plainsong chant. The melody remains the same, however, each stanza receives a slight variation. The second verse can be performed a cappella, at the director's discretion. Vocal ranges are moderate. It is a work with contemporary harmonies, moderate accompaniment and old world integrity. The work should never be rushed and interpretation should lean on the text.
