The piece has two sections, a lively scherzo and a more relaxed trio. It has a number of repeated patterns which can aid the learning process, but there are some technical challenges to overcome at the same time. Principally, these are good keyboard geography in the scherzo, and in the trio, ensuing that ties are being held, and creating good legato fingering.
