Tango Orientale was originally written for a show of dancer/choreographer Aida Le Pesqueur, called Visions Of Orientalia. The show had a priemere in Cologne, Germany, in a theater called "Die Flora", in front of an enthusiastic audience of almost 800. Aida herself danced an exotic and exquisite mixture of Tango and Belly Dance, together with her dance partner Gert Burgert. In 2007 italian film director D.Ronsisvalle chose this tune for his movie " Un Amore Di Gide", produced by La Strada, a movie company by my friend Augusto Allegra. This one is an edited version for bandoneon and piano.
