This Coronation March is definitely in the same vein as those by Walton and Elgar, and unashamedly so! The main theme at bar 27 will be seen to have grown from the theme at bar 9, and is, in some ways, simply an augmentation of the same opening motif. These themes have a definite similarity to the composer's "Coronation Anthem - The King shall Rejoice", which was composed after the March. This was unintentional, but serendipitous!

Hi, Phil. Thanks for taking the time to have review my "Coronation March, 2023". Yes, I suspect there'll be a few more over the coming weeks! I take note of what you say about the ending, but, personally, I feel the grandeur of an ending needs to be proportionate to the rest of the piece. In Elgar and Walton's excellent examples, their supremely grand endings follow pieces lasting between 5 and 6 minutes, while mine is only 3 1/2. Anyway, thank you again, and all the best!
