Uploading mp3 files to Score Exchange:
- From your My scores page click the ‘Edit’ button for the score
- Click “Edit or view score details”
- Click ‘Upload new mp3 file’ and follow the on-screen instructions
Converting files to mp3:
Often Sibelius (and other music creation software) exports audio in .wav (PC) or .aiff file (Mac) formats. These files can easily be converted to a .mp3 file using the following free website: media.io.
NB: We generally recommend uploading an excerpt of the best bit(s) of your piece to Score Exchange so that you can highlight your piece in the shortest possible time – you can do this by setting the playback line / ‘fine’ in an appropriate place, or simply editing the .wav or .mp3 file in your favourite audio editing software.
