Three short duets for two bass recorders (or two bassoons). "Breaking the ice" marked "slightly hesitant" suggests a meeting: the two characters begin to enjoy each others company after a shaky start. "Gossip" and "Sweet nothings" are perhaps self-explanatory. After a fruitless search for bass recorder duets, I decided to write my own!
