Gerard Harrison

My name is Gerard Harrison and I am lucky enough to live in the beautiful County Kerry, on Ireland's Atlantic coast. I am a classical style guitarist and have been arranging for solo guitar for a number of years now. I have published three books - see web addresses below - and have decided to submit all my work on ScoreExchange.com.

As well as my guitar work, I was invited to do some arrangements for a small local ensemble comprising: Flute, Violin, 'Cello and Double Bass. We have arranged a collection of Slow Irish Airs and some tunes by Turlough O'Carolan which I have made available on this web site.

Three of us have diversified as a Jazz and Swing trio, and are developing a set of twenty or so Jazz classics for guitar, violin and double bass. These I will also make available once I have researched the copyright implications. I have arranged the Jazz songs exclusively from the original piano scores, and have painstakingly tried to capture the flavour of the Big Band sound from the first half of the 20th century.
