Pie Jesu by G. FAURÉ for Voice and Strings
The history of the composition of the Requiem Mass in D minor, Op 48 by Gabriel Fauré stretch from 1885 to 1893. The date 1888 is often chosen because it is the year of the creation of the first version to the Madeleine Church in Paris. The Requiem is one of his best known works. The most famous piece is the aria for soprano Pie Jesu (which can be sung by a boy or Soprano voice). This arrangement has been done for voice (Soprano / Boy) and string quartet. Separate parts are given for free.
